Brunata Minol is a third-generation family-run business. As a medium-sized family enterprise, we are accustomed to thinking long-term and acting sustainably. The life's work of our founder, Werner Lehmann, is continued today by his grandson and other experts in management.

When the company issued its first consumption-based billing statement, it was breaking new ground. Brunata Minol's history also illustrates how energy efficiency has gradually gained importance over the decades. Today, issues such as climate protection and the energy transition are at the top of the political agenda. To provide comprehensive support to the real estate industry, Brunata Minol has transformed itself from a billing company into a full-service provider for the real estate sector.

  • Start of business operations of Minol Mineralölimport Stuttgart Werner Lehmann

  • Structure of consumption-based heating cost billing in Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, southern Hesse and northwestern Bavaria

  • New business premises in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Gutenbergstr. 4, and founding of Minol Haustechnik, later renamed Minol Messtechnik.


  • Start of the development and production of water meters in Stuttgart

  • Establishment of the nationwide organization for heating and operating cost billing

  • ZENNER enters the water meter production market in the USA. Acquisition of the assets of Performance (Los Angeles)

  • The Minol-ZENNER Group is expanding into Turkey and Myanmar

  • The Minol-ZENNER Group acquires a stake in SmartMakers in Karlsruhe and in ZENNER Connect AG (now Brunata AG ) in Switzerland.

  • With the founding of Minol ZENNER Connect GmbH (today ZENNER Connect GmbH ), the development of its own LoRaWAN network begins, which allows data from measuring devices and sensors to be transmitted over long distances.

  • Brunata Minol presents Connect Insights , a system of remotely readable building sensors that offers more security and convenience for property and rental management companies.

  • The Minol-ZENNER Group presents the B.One solution portfolio with combinable products, applications and technologies from the solution worlds B.One City, B.One Living, B.One Industry, B.One Community.

The real estate service provider Minol, the largest network operator in Baden-Württemberg Netze BW, ZENNER and the active EMT GmbH continue to do pioneering work: In new pilot projects they want to transmit the submetering data of properties via intelligent metering systems for the first time and thus combine the areas of smart metering and submetering.
