The temperature simulator allows users to determine how a lower room temperature would affect energy consumption. Even a one-degree Celsius reduction in room temperature can save up to eight percent on heating energy. Tenants can define and continuously monitor their individual goals. According to Fraunhofer ISE, feedback mechanisms like these demonstrably increase environmental awareness and promote behavioral change.
