The installation of temperature sensors at Heat and cold meters Installation must be carried out according to standards. Direct-immersion installation has been legally required since 2007.   • Manufacturer-neutral tenders are mandatory.
  • Immersion sleeves often only fit certain manufacturers and are technically outdated.
  • The PTB guideline K9 (valid from 2012) requires direct submersion installation – even for systems with long operating times.
  • This method is particularly accurate when there are small temperature differences (e.g., in underfloor heating or ventilation systems).
