In its "Innovative Strength" study, the news network DIE WELT has once again named Minol the most innovative energy service provider this year.
Leinfelden-Echterdingen, March 2024: With the "Highest Innovation" award, Minol leads the ranking of energy service providers for the fourth time in a study on the innovation strength of German companies commissioned by the news channel WELT TV. The real estate services provider has defended its leading position for the third year in a row. "We are delighted to once again take the top spot in our industry. It's gratifying to have it confirmed that our development from a billing specialist to a full-service provider and supplier of smart building solutions is on the right track," says [name/title of spokesperson]. Alexander Lehmann, CEO of the Minol-ZENNER Group.
With innovative solutions for climate neutrality
The German government's targets are for the building stock to be almost climate-neutral by 2045. This can only be achieved if the building sector, which is responsible for around 30 percent of CO₂ emissions in Germany, also significantly reduces its CO₂ emissions. But it's not just about large-scale property renovations; it's also about how buildings are supplied with electricity and heat, and how consumption is measured, interpreted, and optimized. Minol acts as a digitalization guide for stakeholders in the real estate industry, supporting their path to climate neutrality with solutions such as digital consumption monitoring, photovoltaics, tenant electricity concepts, and electromobility. "With digitalization, we have the right tool to achieve these goals," explains Lehmann. "We are constantly driving Minol's product portfolio forward with innovations so that we can continue to support property owners and managers in meeting the requirements for digitalization and sustainability."
216.000 executives surveyed
This year, the market research institute ServiceValue, commissioned by the news channel WELT TV, again surveyed over 200.000 executives about the innovative strength of German companies. 2.350 companies from 175 sectors were evaluated based on their strategies and concepts, assessing their high level of innovation in both company- and market-related aspects. The response scale ranged from 1 ("fully agree") to 5 ("does not agree"). The average score was calculated for each company based on the respondents' answers. The "highest innovative strength" seal was awarded to the companies with the lowest numerical average score within their respective sectors.
