The Minol Minocal C5-IUF B.One ultrasonic energy meter for heat and cold measurement is equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasonic technology and was developed for a wide range of applications, from building services engineering to district heating. Specifically for district heating transfer stations and compact apartment substations with rapid temperature changes, the Minocal C5-IUF B.One is also available as a "fast-responding heat meter" according to DIN EN 1434-1:2016-02.
The wear-free ultrasonic technology is stable over the long term, insensitive to dirt, and measures reliably even at very low flow rates. The ultrasonic flow sensors can be operated continuously up to a heat transfer fluid temperature of 130 °C and are ideally suited for use in district heating systems. Due to their high overload capacity and wear-free measurement technology, they can also be used for energy measurement in hot water supply systems in accordance with Section 9 (2) of the German Heating Costs Ordinance.
Performance characteristics of the Minocal C5-IUF B.One heat meter
- Optional interfaces: radio, M-Bus and 3 pulse inputs or outputs
- Nominal sizes: qp 0,6 to 10 m³/h
- For installation locations with immersion sleeves Ø 6 mm with an installation length of 85 mm to 150 mm (with clamping screw or ¼" internal thread) a new type of temperature sensor is available which is universally applicable and thus offers a logistical advantage.
- For the replacement of mechanical flow sensors with ultrasonic meters, the so-called short lengths (150 mm and 200 mm) are also available for Minocal C5-IUF B.One.
- All important device and consumption data, such as key date values, maximum values or the stored monthly values over the entire operating period of the meter, can be accessed via a single button.
Universally applicable
Thanks to its diverse, optionally selectable communication interfaces, the Minocal C5-IUF B.One guarantees cost-effectiveness and precision in consumption data acquisition, whether via radio or M-Bus. With the radio data communication interface (LoRaWAN®), the Minocal C5-IUF B.One can be easily and cost-effectively integrated into the web-based system.
