- the building has at least three residential units and one is rented out.
- A central drinking water heating system is available.
- the hot water storage tank holds more than 400 liters or if the pipes between the water heater and the furthest draw-off point have a capacity of more than 3 liters.
- Shower facilities are available.
If all the conditions are met, the Legionella test is mandatory.
