Consumption-based energy performance certificate

  • Permitted for multi-family houses with five or more residential units
  • This also applies to smaller buildings that were built or modernized after 1977.

A cost-effective, consumption-based energy certificate or energy pass, based on the data from the last heating bills, is permitted for all multi-family houses with five or more apartments or for buildings with fewer than five apartments that were built after 1977 or were modernized in accordance with the 1st Thermal Insulation Ordinance of 11.09.1977.
