We have installed state-of-the-art wireless metering technology in your apartment. All Minol meters for recording heating consumption are read using the new Minol Connect wireless system. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to enter your apartment to determine your heating consumption. The readings are transmitted automatically, without requiring your presence. This is not only more convenient for you, but also complies with the legal requirements of the German Heating Costs Ordinance (Heizkostenverordnung).

For accurate billing in accordance with the Heating Costs Ordinance, it is necessary to also consider and allocate the energy used for heating the hot water. Therefore, we also require the meter readings from your hot water meters.

Since your apartment does not have Minol hot water meters installed, but rather the meters belong to your utility company, we cannot read them remotely. Therefore, we rely on your cooperation: Please read your hot water meters yourself and send us the readings so that we can provide our billing service as agreed. We'll show you the easiest way to do this here.

Important note: Please submit your meter readings to us no later than 14 days after receiving this request – ideally using this online form. If we do not receive the meter readings within 14 days, we will be required to estimate your consumption professionally in accordance with the legal requirements of the Heating Costs Ordinance.

Tips for self-reading

The consumption is displayed in cubic meters on a roller counter. Hot and cold water meters are externally indistinguishable and are read in the same way.

When reading your own meter, pay particular attention to the correct use of decimal points in the consumption display. One decimal place is sufficient. For meter numbers, the last four digits are enough.
